Wish to be!

I fall, I rise
Am numb, am wise!
I walk, I flunk
I spit, am drunk!
That’s life, I call
I rise I fall!

I cry, I smile
Am young, am senile
Am dork, am nerd
Am wild and free
Like a bird!

I live, I see
Things big, and wee
I tear apart
& then I kick start!
Cause, I live my life
I try, I strive
I learn, I give
I learn to forgive!
I yearn, I hope
Beneath the dust
Is the glittery gold!

I see the ocean wide and blue
I give my love, unselfish and true!
I believe, there’s pearl there in the ocean bed
I believe true hues last longer than has been said!
Cause, I know, I am not an immortal soul
Who could perfectly undo the wrongs, the acts
I know my imperfections are my greatest strengths
when I know how to topple them!
And here’s my own life I want to live
With blessings and serenity from within
I wish to learn to soar high in the sky
Spread my wings, and then fly!
Without the pretension of having to fall
But,
With the hope to rise & stand tall!
