Nepal farm?
“All animals are equal, but some animals are
more equal than others”
Many a times
I think, Are we living a fairytale? The one that supposedly is an ironical
piece of Fairy tale. As I keep thinking, I find it funny and at the same time
devastating. And as I keep going, with my bewildering imagination, I am taken
aback. As each of the characters of the story fall into places, and as I draw
resemblance with them, it seems so much like a tale, one that none of the
nation would wish for. But there always seems to be a huge difference, there
they were mere witless and dud lower organisms and here we are best of the best
organisms alive, Homo sapiens! Ironical yet true, That is what I feel at least
now, about the Fairytale, “Animal Farm”. And when I synchronize my own
viewpoints, I see moreover the same plot, just the characters are replaced. And
this is how Nepalese politics seems to be, to me. With the ever going, pass the
buck game, and making a hay while the sun shines, upon the incapability of the
other, it surpasses every organisms morale, be it a unicellular or much
sophisticated of beings. There in the pages of the tale are confined the remote
possibilities and somewhat existent situations of the then great Britain. A nation
that has a long history with every sort of thing, be it colonialism, or
industrial revolution or communism. And when we turn to the history of this
small Ex-kingdom of Nepal, we have been conjuring all along to have a nation as
a whole, a sole discrete nation. And just with a few decades of a whole
independent dominium, this out splash has led us all into an abyss of hope, and
nothingness all at the same time. There in the pages the animals, so called
superior amongst them would easily equivocal the inferior ones, and here
mediocre beings are guiding a heterogeneous mob, the whole nation. As I imagine
myself as one amongst those inferior beings, who would blindly follow their
comrade, I discern myself as a hapless soul, born in the right place but in the
wrong time. Despite all this, I still know and believe that, we are much more
different than those naïve little beings, we can think for ourselves, we can
stand for ourselves, we don’t need to resort to the tale that our comrades
write, dictate. We are not bound to follow their minds, their wills and their
rules, we can change, change the face of our time; Of our lives and our nation.
We can still move along the way with our endurance and perseverance, cause with
every setting sun, there is always a rising one! J
Amen!
