 I

You were that hot wind that left ones' skin sweaty;

There was the ongoing raucous-the heat,

Both from the dead and the living,

From Asia to the middle-east to Africa to the Americas.

II

You were some form of relief amidst the suffocation we were living in,

You brought in the sunshine and sweet waft of blooming flowers,

But, the heat- It was still unbearable,

The heat- from both mother nature and us humans.

III

You kept piling up the dead,

From the disease and the heat;

In all of that, humanity did learn a lesson,

That this heat had to be diffused,

And, that we had no other option,

Even if we merely wanted to survive, live, or thrive.
