STARE.
She stands there
Staring at the face, she barely recognizes
Puffy from sleep deprivation,
Few premature linings here and there
She stares for countless seconds, minutes, hours
Her biological clock still ticks and tocks
While the wordly time, stands still for her
She tries to carve a smile on that otherwise pretty face
Maybe for a moment or two, she does
It is there: standing,
Right in front of her.
A blink, a sigh
And she curses it back to death,
And there again, she stares, Stares at the absurdity she has become.
Staring at the face, she barely recognizes
Puffy from sleep deprivation,
Few premature linings here and there
She stares for countless seconds, minutes, hours
Her biological clock still ticks and tocks
While the wordly time, stands still for her
She tries to carve a smile on that otherwise pretty face
Maybe for a moment or two, she does
It is there: standing,
Right in front of her.
A blink, a sigh
And she curses it back to death,
And there again, she stares, Stares at the absurdity she has become.
