But the irony is,
Demanding Reciprocity in terms of receiving respect
Brands you as an arrogant person,
I don't want to get down that below
To win any affection,
I choose my self-esteem,
Over your pretentious love,
over your idea that
I am a thing you own,
A being whom you can manipulate at your will
And distort when need be.
If my demand for respect in return of what I gave,
Is just that a big price to pay,
I am sure, you will get another human to find your ways.
