Dear Girls,
When someone tells you
'I am not looking for something serious'
No matter what you expect from that relation,
Just walk away before you get too involved, too serious.
Before you decide to be the 'soft, lovable, no matter what I shall try girl'.
Just stop!
There's not a single man or a woman who can make you better,
If they start off with a malafide intention.
If from the very beginning it's about 'tagging' you in subtle ways,
Without even realizing it themselves that they are talking to a fellow human,
Who has a beating heart, a soul,
That wishes to give out love and be loved,
Just stop.
Move on. Even if you weren't looking for 'a fast forward few months and into a relationship' thing!
Because,
Trust me,
If a human is capable of stacking you into a pile of 'undateable list',
The same human can walk over you when the time comes,
And say, ' I told you I wasn't looking for something serious'.
It would be as easy,
As easy as when the first time they said,
'I wanna try you, but not date you', silently,
When they said those words out loud.
So, dear girls, go explore the world,
Make your lives better,
Do things you want to do for yourself,
Become a better dancer, performer, writer, lawyer, or whatever it is you want to become,
Believe me, your dreams indeed are as big as you think they are,
You have everything in you to achieve them,
All you need to do is let go off these distractions.
You don't need to find someone to become someone,
In the process of becoming someone,
If you do find someone,
'Great'
But, that shouldn't be what you look out for,
That shouldn't be the measure of your beauty, intelligence or your likeability.
And, even if you end up being alone for the rest of your life,
You should be comfortable with that,
Because being alone is not always synonymous to being lonely.
But, for that you first need to learn to love yourself,
You need to love the feeling of being on your own and not feel lost or depressed or down!
You are absolutely allowed to have those days, where you cry, break down, stalk, cry over again, indulge in chocolates, pizza and everything you will regret later;
But, you shouldn't let that feeling get into you,
Drown you!
Like every morning brings a new day, you should cry your sorrows away and move ahead,
Chase that dream,
Become the someone you want to become.
