Tragedy.

You never liberated me.
 Neither did I.
I suppose.

You were that constant beguilment.
To which I surrendered.
Everytime.
Either helplessly or that was your unfathomable charm.

You casually chose to dismiss my concerns as trivial.
 Or was it surreptitious?
I cannot say.

How well crafted your words would be,
While mine, shallow at the outset.
How well I could endear
And you, repugn with equal heat and heart.

Such a tragedy we had,
Bleak romance booming out of opposites, right from the onset.
